HUGE 2018 Announcement

It is with great sadness that we start this post, but also some true excitement. This is a pretty big announcement...

2018 will be our final event

It deeply saddens us to make that announcement and it took us a long time to come to terms with ending the CAE event. We have had a fabulous time hosting the event and we have incredible authors and readers who have attended our events each year.  While we do thoroughly enjoy hosting the event, it's not something we can manage personally any longer. So with that sad news, 2018 will be the final event (for now)  hosted by Love Between the Sheets,  Books Chocolate and Lipgloss and Alexis Noelle. That's not to say when things slow down in our personal and family lives that we won't pick it back up, but for now we don't have plans to do so. 

With that being said, we need to take a minute and say a huge huge THANK YOU. Thank you to the readers who attended each year. Thank you to the authors who attended. Thank you to each and every volunteer who helped us with the successful events we've had. Thank you to the venues, booksellers, anyone who made our events the successes they were. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

Now you may be asking why we are excited to make this announcement. When we came to terms with 2018 being our final year, we wanted to go out with a bang. Bring in some authors we've never had before. Some that we know rarely travel to the East coast, authors that we know our readers would love to see (and yes, that is our goal every year ). With 2018, we have some fabulous, amazing, incredible names lined up and we can't wait to start announcing them... after the 2017 event. 

On that last note, be sure to get your tickets for 2017! Some of the authors from 2017 may not be at our event next year in 2018, and you may miss out on seeing them! Get your tickets now!

P.S. also that weekend is the Tater Tots and Beer event downtown. Sounds like a great way to bring your spouse with you. They can enjoy beer and tots, and you can enjoy the event! Book a room at the hotel and make it a mini weekend away with the spouse!
